Thank you for your interest in employment at Learning Steps Preschool through the Fairfield County Educational Service Center (ESC). We are looking for individuals committed to serving students in our communities and ensuring they receive the best education possible. Our classrooms are located in the Liberty Union, Fairfield Union, Bloom Carroll, and Walnut Township school districts.

All of our classroom are classified as special education. We can serve up to 8 special needs students and 7 typically developing peer role models in each classroom. There is one teacher and one or two paraprofessionals per class.

Teacher requirements: Must be certified through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. Preschool certification is required unless you have Early Childhood Intervention Specialist. If you have a PS but no IS, you will need to take a supplemental exam to receive your IS. Please reach out to Natalie Lewellen for additional information or to see if you hold the correct certification.

Paraprofessional requirements: Must have a high school diploma and paraprofessional certificate. The paraprofessional assessment is given at the ESC and you do not have to have it completed prior to applying.

Information about all current openings is available through Frontline.  Applications for employment are submitted through the Frontline system.  Background checks are completed through our office once an offer for employment is extended.
