In 2019, a dedicated group of community members came together to address a pressing concern: the results of the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment in Fairfield County, Ohio revealed a 20% deficit in language and literacy readiness. This sparked a flurry of brainstorming sessions as we sought innovative ways to elevate our community's early learning standards. Fast forward to 2022, when the Fairfield County Educational Service Center (ESC) secured funding through the ESSER grant, enabling the group to take its mission to new heights.

In 2022, as the group reconvened, we set forth clear goals:

• Support Local Child Care Providers: We are committed to helping local child care providers improve their SUTQ (Step Up To Quality) Star ratings

• Expand Professional Development Opportunities: Our aim is to increase professional development opportunities by offering free Ohio Approved Trainings

• Empower Parents with Knowledge: Through the 'Say Do Know' campaign, we strive to educate parents on what to look for in childcare, how to identify quality child care, and how to enhance their child's development. To achieve this, we felt there was a need to create an informative website and engaging video content to reach parents through social media channels
